Cervelli formally announced his retirement and stated that while he loved New York, “Pittsburgh is the place that I love. It’s the place that I feel special. The people made me feel so special.

Also mentioned wanting to get into coaching or front office analytics, so I say hire him right now for next season as our Manager. I would love to see him at the helm even with no managerial experience.

I would add him to the coaching staff and let him get his feet wet first

We wont spend money for talent, so let's waste some on a coach.

If we had a real pitching coach, we wouldn't need some catching coach.
