Shelty lets us down again. He has to get it through his dumb head that Pooplanco is not going to draw suitors now or at the TD. Just put him on the bench like you would a Rule 5 player and let him play only when there is a blowout and then only in the last inning.

Note to Possum:
I do not disagree with you with respect to Polanco. However, our Rule 5 outfielder is batting 6th in the order.
Also, our clean-up hitter was released by the team before the season even started, and has 'earned' being the #4 hitter on the virtue of hitting one home run (his first) in one game.
Lastly, release Polanco now.

They're counting on Polanco to make a few 3rd outs so that Tom can lead off the next inning.

Whoever it is has a better chance to reach base safely than Polanco.

Some things just never change- can't say Polanco is not consistent
