Well, Shelty is taking a page from my college days and the song by John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band by "Giving Max a Chance"!

The way it should be. I seer Molina is catching all 4 games. He is going to be 39 in July. Yesterdays lineup was a joke. Best of luck to Kranick

This is the lineup he should have had with his best pitcher going yesterday. Instead he gave Brubaker no chance to win and now uses a stronger lineup with a AAA pitcher so they'll probably get outscored today. This is the sort of thing that is wrong with Shelton. If he was determined to rest people and lose what little offense his team can create, at least do it when the pitching matchup is not favorable. Don't do it with your best pitcher on the mound.

Couldn't agree with you more. Even with Polanco in the lineup.

Good job by Polanco avoiding the double play with the bases loaded.

Well, he has a three run lead to work with.

Polanco slips beneath .200 after his second at bat this afternoon. With all that we’ve seen, shouldn’t that be the last straw? Can’t Cherington now finally declare that Polanco has been given more than enough opportunity and it’s time to release him? I can’t take this for another month, or worse, until the season ends.

Not a bad start for the kid. Certainly don't want to jinx him
