Hurdle, at the time, said Rivero has pitched in more high leverage situations. Hurdle did not say every high level situation.

Watson, I think, only entered the 9th with a one run lead three times.

I still think Hurdle was correct in saying that Rivero has been in MORE high leverage situations.

It's possible that Hurdle has his own definition of "high leverage situations" and based his comment on his own opinion.
