I won't be surprised if the Pirates sign someone, it just won't be anyone who'll be able to provide the kind of help the team needs.

I think it might be because other teams have a different goal in mind when it comes to playing a baseball season.

As Bill Veeck might have said, few knew that Gray could be lost, because few realized that he was owned.

Santander's contract with the Jays averages about $18 million per year, certainly affordable for our Pirates. I wonder if we made any attempt to top it?
