Reading your line-up brought to mind two players. Rennie Stennent was having an outstanding season, and looked like he was on his way to becoming one of the league's best players, when he was injured. It would've been fun to watch him play over the next years. The second guy was Rick Rueschel. I despised him when he pitched for the Cubs but he quickly became one of my all-time favorites when he pitched here. I loved that guy and the way he competed.

It was probably hell for the Pirates to have a Triple A team in Hawaii, but it may have helped them recruit Reuschel and Bob Walk when those guys needed a place to rehab and work things out.
