Thanks for all the links 3pirates3. I always appreciate them, but you must have been working overtime to find all the ones you put up for us for the players we just drafted.

I am going to watch the signings carefully to see if they can accumulate enough to sign the last kid, Taylor Penn. We always seem to have one player like that on the third day. Hope we found at least one surprise bat, like Charles McAdoo from last year's.

It is good to hear that various outlets are stating that the Pirates did well with this years draft. I would expect soon we will hear about some signings.

It is good that the Pirates draft was rated high,
I am still disappointed that we did not take Tommy White the slugger from LSU with our second pick

I am a little surprised that the Pirates have not signed any draft choices so far. I am hoping we soon will hear some news regarding players signing.

It seems the Pirates are a little slower with signing their top 3 draft choices this year. Possibly they are attempting to get Konnor Griffin to sign below slot in order to spread some of that saved money on other draft choices. It just appears that there may be a slight holdup with the signing of Griffin. On draft day I read that he was ready to begin his professional career so I expect that he will sign possibly over this weekend.

According to Jonathan Mayo there are some issues that are holding up the signing of Konnor Griffin. He believes a deal will get done but it could come down to the final day. I kind of wondered about that because there have been times when the Pirates have signed the #1 Draft choice when the team is at home, and they have him meet the team, and make a big splash. Now if he does sign they are on the road, or it will be a travel day. They have one week to get it done.
