It’s going to be a rough year attendance wise unless the Pirates contend. You could see the fan backlash in the opening series. Those games should have been sellouts. You have the Yankees opening the home season on a weekend and you can’t sell out the Saturday and Sunday game? I bet that there won’t be 20K for Skenes game tonight.

In addition, it's really cold here today. It's unreasonable to ask those guys to play a game under what the conditions will be like this evening. If they play, I might even feel sorry for the Cardinals hitters what with having to face Skenes. It could very well increase his chances of throwing a no hitter.

Thinking the same way. Those batters are just going to want to be by a heater on the bench. I'm looking forward to a great pitched game by Skenes.
