And so it goes. This game was sort of a microcosm of the season. Chances, but just couldn't quite convert them. Now we wait to see what happens in the off-season.

Bucs go down without a whimper, Cruz fittingly striking out to end it. Another double digit (13) strike out total for the team today. A team without power shouldn’t be striking out this much. We had to have been in the bottom three for total whiffs.

I’m guessing it’ll be another offseason like this past one.

Cruz finished the season going 0-21.

He wasn't happy about it. Judging from the players interviews the last few games, and the actions of some of the pitchers when they were taken out, I have a feeling in that clubhouse they're not all behind Shelton.

So the post game show, they're already talking about how hard it would be to play the Pirates in a post season series.

They really need to first worry about getting there.

I saw his reaction as well
