Cutch to 10-day IL. Alika Williams recalled.

I thought they might give Davis a chance to be dh to see if he had improved. Maybe they need Williams since Cruz was at least slightly injured.

I am surprised they brought back Williams. I was hoping for Davis, Cook, or Yorke. Williams I will admit is a good fielder, but he is a poor hitter. The Pirates need more offense when they lose Cutch for an extended period.

Most of us have been critical of Cherington as well as Bad Deal Neal. Obviously
a lot of it is deserved. I will however give him credit for the following:
1. IKF for Priester was a steal. An everyday player for a seldom used Pitcher
2. Joey Bart off Waivers from the Giants. He has done one hell of a job since
his arrival.
3. Bailey Falter for Rudulfo ( where is my cell phone) Castro. Really got the
best of the Phillies on that one
4. Kyle Nicholas who the bucs received from the Marlins for Jacob Stallings. Stallings
is on his way out and Nicholas seems to get better and better

You guys can list all of the bozo moves

Cruz didn't look injured today especially on that steal.

That wasn't the trade. The Pirates gave up a good prospect in McAdoo for IKF. Priester was traded to Boston for Nick Yorke.

Thanks for that- I think from what I read that Nick Yorke will help us forget about Priester

We keep recycling players from the minors who are not part of the future. Why in the hell are you bringing up Alika Williams to replace Cutch. Bring up Cook, Yourke, Davis, Ashford. Cut Grandal, Heller, Send Triolo down
