So I'm guessing we are looking at Hudson in the 8th, followed by Watson of course.

I'm worried about both ... especially Hudson.

RTJR! I like the lineup but may platoon JHay and Frazier.

Good win to open the series. You gotta think we got a good chance to take the series with Taillon and Nova on the mound the next two games. The Pirates are 7-0 when they score 4 or more runs. So if this offense can provide some punch the way the team is pitching right now they can win games more consistently.

What happened with Osuna's error?

A questionable error. Ball was hit off wall and bounced past Osuna. Looked like he should have played it cleanly off the wall but I've seen similar plays where no error was charged.

Harrison blew that opportunity. Went right through him.

Harrison made an error. That happens. Hurdle should have left Glasnow get the last out. Glasnow would have had a chance for a win; and Harrison wouldn't have felt like he blew Glasnow's chance for his first win.

I'm glad put the team before a personal W for his pitcher. Two men were on, Glasnow was up there in pitches. I knew if he didn't get that guy, he would be done.

Glasnow looked alright. Some bad fielding led to runs after he gave up some hits. I can see the potential more and get the hype.

I would have given Glasnow the chance to get the 3rd out. Looked like he had it on the ball that got thru Harrison. It's not like they were smashing the ball against him. It's more than just getting a W for the pitcher. Having a young pitcher who seems to struggle with his confidence notch his first MLB win could be a big step in boosting his confidence, which could improve his subsequent starts.

Glasnow could have blew the lead too. I felt it was the right call. That was his last batter. With Glasnow's reaction, he probably knew it too. He wasn't going to come out for the sixth. He was over 100 pitches.
