Interesting how few comments there have been about it.
That's probably a good sign. Cole seems to be getting back to what we had come to expect from him prior to last season. Now if only he had an offense and defense to work with.

Won't matter how good guys like Cole,Taillon and Nova pitch as long as this offense continues to be as anemic as it has been so far this season the Pirates just aren't gonna win games.

I would bunt Mercer after Jaso's double. Cole is probably done. Need this run.

If you're gonna bat for Cole this inning use Freese to hit for him and take your best shot right now.

Agree, but Freese wouldn't stay in. Freese is probably hurt or hurting.

Hanson gave the Cubs the lead and chased Cole from the game. Cole looked pissed.

They should have used Freese there to bat for Hanson with Jaso at 3rd and 1 out. Terrible at bat for Hanson you gotta do better then that.

How bad could Freese be hurting?? I mean they just had an off day last Thursday and have another one coming up this Thursday. I mean we are only 20 games into the season for crying out loud guys shouldn't be tired yet at all. I don't buy that excuse.
