I'd like to know how many errors Gooselin has to make a 2B (all while continuing to not hit) before Hurdle stops running him out there.



I mean what's it going to take for Hurdle to say, "You know, playing Gooselin is not in the best interest of this team."



Same holds true for Jaso.



I simply don't get it.

This lineup, this defense, is an embarrassment to MLB. How can TBMTB abuse the fan base this way? Heads should be rolling. But they won't. This is par for the course.

But Jaso is a terrible outfielder who's not hitting. Why give someone else a chance?

Yeah, if Goose was supposed to be a versatile plus defender with a light bat...there's no reason not to keep Gift and let him go when we start getting guys back. We at least know Gift can give us plus defense.

I am making up an unconfirmed report that Jaso and Gosselin have video taped evidence of Mr. Nutting rolling naked in piles of money screaming "They all love me, bwahahahaha....". That is why Hurdle is being forced to play those two every day.

I agree this was an important game 30 games into this season with a chance to sweep a series before heading on a tough West Coast trip and Clint seemed like he could care less based on that embarrassment of a lineup he put out there today. I'll keep saying it that this team is not good and things are going to get a lot worse before they get better. If the Pirates are in contention come mid June I will be very surprised. This team stinks fellas no other way to really put it.

Gosselin needs DFA immediately once both Frazier and Freese are back. He is useless and has costs this team a number of games already with his glove. Just an absolutely terrible signing by the Pirates. It's insane that Hurdle continues to play him at 2nd a few times a week. I don't get it either.

On the bright side, I did not get the feeling once that Glasnow was about to have a meltdown. He handled the shoddy defense nicely. I think he is becoming a pitcher.
