June 20th. Up by six in the first. Can they hold on?

I think he should go back to AAA and let Brault give them a LH starter. Kuhl is interesting because he is just this year becoming a power pitcher. Let him work on getting better control but also on using his new found FB to set up his other pitches. I think he's going to be a good pitcher. But let him figure things out at AAA and give Brault a chance while he's looking so good at Indy.

I have no problem with Brault coming up. Would Kuhl be better throwing heat in the 7th or 8th inning out the bullpen?



I like Kuhl. I think he is promising. I don't know where this 100mph pitches came from, but I like it. He just needs to control it better. Something as simple as a new grip on the ball could straighten him out too. He left foot landing step is off at times too. When he steps straight to home plate, he pitches well. When he starts stepping towards the first base side of the plate and throwing across his body, he is wild.

I'm with ya Bobster.  Let him get command of the big time fastball and continue to refine his other pitches.  Who knows, maybe if he is successful he becomes closer material if he fails as a starter.
