Up 6-2 in the 6th and my confidence level of the Kerosene Committee being able to protect this lead is about 50-50, maybe slightly less.

At least we survived one Hudson inning. But still 9 outs to go ...

Agree with others ... Osuna has got to get more ABs. He has EARNED it.

And Diaz MUST be the regular over Stewart. It's simply idiotic to play Stewart ahead of Diaz at this point.

I'm concerned that Nova might be hitting a wall, which to be honest would not be all that surprising. No way he could maintain his performance level of the first 2 months.

In 1978 before Tippy Martinez became a great reliever and before Joe Kerrigan became a Pirates pitching coach, both struggled badly in the Orioles bullpen. The Orioles beat writer that year nicknamed them "Famine and Pestilence." :)

McCutchen can still run the bases very well. He scored from first with ease. I am not sure why some think he is a bad base runner?

I don't know why Cora was running with him down the line. Osuna was looking at him and then focused on the third baseman. Just wave McCutchen and then focus on Osuna. Very unusual to me.

Almost shocking to see that box score. Looks just like a Pirates game from 2013-2015 ... with a relief pitcher actually DOING HIS JOB in the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th innings.

What a novel concept.

Good win ... and another Brewers loss.

Only 4 games out. Of course if we hadn't been GIVING AWAY games over the last 3 weeks, this team could be in 1st place or awfully close to it right now.

Hes average at best, with tools to be great. BSR over past 3 seasons is negative
