The teams scoring in bunches and then coming back in bunches is why I am enjoying the series.  There is just no quit in these teams like it should be.  I never understood when a team scores three or four runs in an inning that the other team is done.  There has probably been so many times in the regular season where teams have scored three runs or so in an inning.  There is no clock.  Teams can always come back. 


I agree. The ball should be the same from the first spring training game to the last pitch of the world series. If I was Giles or Darvish, I would consider filing a lawsuit against baseball for this.

This is probably the best World Series I've seen in my lifetime. I'm glad the Dodgers won tonight. This series was too good to not go seven.

It turns out that we don't need 25 runs to make a great game - last night was incredible! Two heavyweights demonstrating how great this game can be.



Like you - this series and these teams deserve a game 7.



(My admiration for the Astros is off the charts even though I'm for LA. So much home grown talent that comes together as a "team" - WOW! But that's for another time and thread).

Just having base runners is exciting in these games. I feel everyone is coming through. You never know who will be the hero. Taylor with a big hit yesterday. Both fan bases have been into every pitch. It's nice to see even in LA as they are notorious in getting up and not really paying attention to the game (and arriving late, leaving early).



I also love the player excitement. Correa sprinting to home plate and then running out to second base on the game winner. Pederson going nuts in the dugout and as he ran around the bases. No one is being "showed up". They are having fun and enjoying the moment.

I agree. Personally, I didn’t even think the whole incident with Gurriel and Darvish was that big of a deal. I thought the entire thing was blown out of proportion. Regardless, it’s been a great series.



My pick for MVP...IF Astros win, Springer; if Dodges win, Pederson.

I think you are right about MVPs. Springer had a huge "error" too, but then got that run back with a HR. You could tell he felt so bad for that mistake.

Yeah, the Springer error was really bad. But, he was being aggressive. I get it. Still, he's had a huge series with the bat.

Are games not spread out anymore? Or did pitchers pitch on two day's rest in the past? I recall Aces starting three times in a series and especially Game 7.



Kluber last year started Game 1, Game 4, and Game 7 for the Indians. Young in 2015 started Game 1 and Game 4 for the Royals.
