That's good because they'll lose their collective minds if the Phil's lose to the M's tonight and the collective team effort continues its downhill slide!
Have to tell you, it's a wonderful thing for me. Guys I golf with are already thinking the Phillies are going to follow the Eagles of last season and fall apart just like they did. :P

Giants Blake Snell throws a no-hitter against the Reds. struck out 11 after his last start where he struck out 16. Threw 114 pitches.

Amazingly, this is his first career complete game.

This was the first game he ever pitched in the ninth inning. It was the first game he even completed 8 innings. His longest outing in his career prior to this was 7 2/3

White Sox have now lost 18 games in a row. When they finally do win and end the streak, how do you imagine the game? Extras that goes 25 innings? A White Sox blowout? A 1-0 game where the run scores on a little league home run? They win getting no hit?

Somehow, I imagine them winning on a 5 inning, rain shortened game.

I'll be curious to see how many fans show up for the White Sox home games in September. I watched the Orioles pitch a collective no-hitter with about 150 fans in the stands. It was late Sept. game and they were terrible. I guessing a lot of those fans that gave up on them are back.

Cub SS pulled a Cruz and got in the way of the LF who was running into make
the catch and two runs scored. 5-4 Final

Watching the Cleveland- Orioles game during the bucs rain delay.
Eloy Jimenez recently traded from the White Sox to Baltimore at the deadline got his
first Oriole RBI. Talk about going from rags to riches. Goes from a team which is 41 1/2
games out to a team in First Place.

White Sox lost to the Twins today for their 19th consecutive loss - they are 27-87
Next up is a series against the A's in Anaheim.
Wonder what the White Sox motivation level is?
