2 on nobody out. Team has been having trouble scoring runs. Down by one run. Instead of trying to bunt and put runners on second and third Frazier pops out immediately. One pitch later IFK hits into a double play. No patience at the plate. Doesn’t even allow Suwinski to possibly steal third. Terrible baseball

Bobster, since you and I seem to be the only ones on here tonight,
can you explain to me why Cutch who had a great night yesterday,
is not in the lineup. However, Pham and Suwinski are. I'm sure he didn't ask for the
night off

Shelton likes to make sure everyone gets plenty of rest. Especially the day after they have a good game. It keeps them from developing any positive consistency. I think the other managers gave that tip to Shelton.

Yeah, that was nasty! Very bloody. I hope there's no facial bones broken.

Nats now have more SBs tonight than the Pirates have hits.

Nats attempt a sac bunt but are foiled by the Pirates who neglect to have anyone cover 1B, forcing the batter to accept a hit.
That focus on winning that Shelton talks about is really impressive.

I hope they're winning in the margins 'cause they sure aren't winning anywhere else.
