I’ve really been impressed with Joey Bart. He’s gotten better as the season has gone along. It gave me cause to see how Henry Davis is doing. He’s having a very good year. Perhaps he just needed a bigger share of Triple A at bats and he can bring that to the big leagues and be the player we thought he could be.

I’m just not sure what position he can play. Platooning him at catcher isn’t a good idea if Bart’s going to continue to be a good contributor. He won’t see enough playing time. We all saw that he can’t play the OF real well. Perhaps he can learn to play first base because, frankly, there’s nothing else left for him. I don’t know if the org has him working out at the position while in Indy but it might be a good idea.

Funny how the announcers talking how winning this game could give us the tiebreaker over DB's for Playoff position. I'll take that kind of talk all day these next 2 months.
