Jose Bautista was taken in that draft, but the Orioles sent him back.
Actually, the Orioles waived Bautista and Tampa Bay selected him. A few weeks later, TB waived him and KC got him. A few weeks later, KC traded him to the Mets. A few weeks later, it cost the Pirates Benson and Keppinger in a trade with the Mets to get Bautista back, along with Ty Wigginton.
