Glasnow is just not there. This is the big leagues. The kid just doesn't have it.
There are aspects of his outings that are played like little league. Uncontested steals of 2nd with a runner on 3rd.
Behind every batter. Working half as fast as other pitchers. Guys are just sitting on him. Sad

1 clean inning, at least. 4-3 bucs. Glasnow 100+ pitches through 4.2. 7 hits, 2 walks, 2ER.
The bar has been lowered so far now, that Walk is talking about how Glasnow pitched well. He survived this game , so on to the next one.

I love Hurdle; but tonight he blew an opportunity. He should have given Glasnow the opportunity to get the last out in the 5th and get his first win. That could have given him a huge confidence boost. Instead he demoralized the kid. Shameful!!

Harrison blew that opportunity. Went right through him.
Harrison made an error. That happens. Hurdle should have left Glasnow get the last out. Glasnow would have had a chance for a win; and Harrison wouldn't have felt like he blew Glasnow's chance for his first win.

In that game the Pirates didn't get a hit after the 2nd inning until the 7th. Hmmm.
