Pirates 11-14 This isn't going to last though trust me. Teams are struggling now but the Pirates can't continue to play 3-4 games under .500 like they are now and expect to realistically contend in this division. The Cubs are gonna start playing like the Cubs sooner or later and when that happens the Pirates will be buried in the standings. This is not a good team this year bottom line. It's not going to contend for anything by seasons end.

True. Last year, some fans were actually praising the Pirates for "being in the WC hunt" despite winning only 78 games. You can't count on the opposition to play down to your level. If you can't compile a respectable W-L record you don't deserve a post season spot and certainly can't expect other teams to make it possible.
