I go to a fair number of Pens games. I can't think of two originations that are more different.



I wonder what team would be on the field for the Pirates if Mario and Buckles were the owners? Needless to say, I'm confident there would be significant differences. The Pirates might be running away with the division.

Unreal he didn't ask for help. I didn't know he was from Butler. He made one of the worst calls in baseball history and got rewarded with special games.

Maybe its just his luck that he makes errors in crucial situations and he doesn't make more errors than average ump.



While I do think balls and strikes should be called with technology I think baseball umps probably miss less than basketball, football and hockey refs just because of pace of game.

Asking them to bring the Cup and throwing out the first pitch is the baseball way in honoring people. Has an owner ever been on the field for a first pitch or to honor a team or person outside of opening day?



I don't get bashing the Pirates as you praise the Penguins. Social media was ripping the Pirates some compared to just honoring what the Penguins accomplished. Oh well, just a negative world we live in.
