Wow. So weird. It's like they read this board.

Good job, Hurdle.

Except for Stewart. I actually like Stewart, and though he doesn't hit for a lot of power, he's a smart hitter. I like him as a defensive catcher. But, Diaz is the best catcher we have on the roster...better than Cervelli, and much better than Stewart. Put the best team on the field, Clint.

And Stewart back in there. 3 of the last 4 games. Just don't get it. 1-9 since coming off the DL.

Oh, and now Bastardo is back up with the big club.

Stallings was optioned to make room for Bastardo. That means 13 pitchers and 4 bench players. Must be another move coming.

I feel the roster has been changing so much that I don't even know it anymore.

I am not a fan of Stewart. I was surprised they signed him. I get Diaz playing every day in the minors, but with Cervelli hurt, he should be playing.

Stewart is a self proclaimed "smart hitter". Smart hitters should bat higher than .212 the last two years. He is another reason why the 2016 and 2017 Pirates did/are lose/losing.

Not a big fan of this.

I think Cutch should have remained at 6 while he was on a roll.

And for the life of me I don't get Stewart over Diaz. Stewart strikes me as a prototype backup catcher. He's fine in that role. BUT DIAZ IS BETTER AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT. Diaz should start 5 days a week.

McClendon Hurdle is tying not to overexpose him.
