Stewart Starting Again Tonight

Good win tonight. But, bottom line, this team just lost 2 of 3 to the lowly Giants, the lowly Pads and the lowly Reds.



If they had won 2 of 3 in each series, they would be just 2.5 games out of first.



Now they have 10 more games coming up with Padres, Tigers, Blue Jays. I wish the Pirates could take advantage of it and maybe win 8 of 10 or 9 of 10. But I know better than that and I've learned not to get my hopes up. They have blown so many golden opportunities to win this division.

Cervelli back in lineup tonight. I just saw that on the Tuesday game he took a foul tip to the groin. That is the first that I heard that he got injured.

They hadn't announced it but it was pretty suspicious that they didn't post the lineup last night until very late as if they were waiting on someone''s status. So when Stewart started it seemed they must have been waiting on Cervelli. I guess this explains it.
