Luplow now has as many HRs as his great uncle Al Luplow hit for the Pirates (in 103 ABs). Al had a good rookie season for Cleveland in 1962 hitting .277 with 14 HRs but never had another good season. Al's MLB career ended with the Pirates in 1967 at age 28.

Used to be when Pirates played Reds the Bucs had to worry about facing Chapman. Now it's the Reds having to worry about facing Rivero. What goes around, comes around.

I just missed seeing Uncle Al but I hope to see a lot more of the nephew.

I wish I wasn't old enough to remember Uncle Al. But, alas, I am.

I'd rather have Luplow in AAA or AA and not in the lineup.

I seem to have an interesting impact with people and teams yesterday. I posted on facebook that maybe the clown Harbaugh should coach his team instead of being a media whore seeking attention. This came after back to back pick sixes and a blocked punt.
