Jon Lester has "Jon Lester Disease." Unlike Blass, Lester can pitch to batters but has psychological issues throwing to a base.

I recall when we kept hoping to hear encouraging things about 1st round catcher Tony Sanchez in the minors, we instead kept hearing about Elias Diaz. Diaz has become a very solid player on this team. Ends an inning by throwing out a runner and leads off the next with a HR.

I’ve said it all year long and I’ll continue to say it. Even with a very strong start to the year for Cervelli, I’m convinced Diaz is the best catcher on this team.

and doing it all with a sore ankle/foot. Nice payback by Diaz.
