No, it is Scottdale, Pa. Scottsdale is in Arizona. And for the exit from the nearest 4 lane highway, there is an exit sign for Ruffs Dale which is Mrs. Possum's hometown and is actually spelled as one word according to the USPS.

I stand corrected. Yes, it's that Ruffs Dale sign that I was thinking of.

A few other Pirate passings: Bob Oliver. Mike Ryan, Paul Pettit. The latter was a huge bonus baby pitcher in 1950, won only one game in the majors.
