Newman's attempt at a bunt hit almost works, but gets Gamel over.
Evans hits a chopper to third with the infield back, Bucs use small ball to get one back.
3-1 Brewers

Didn't know it till they showed it, Polanco has had a hip issue the last couple of days. They showed him working out with the trainer. Not sure what to make of it. But why are they carrying him INJURED, as well as when he isn't?
Should just have been placed on the IL, and give the next not ready for prime time player a chance.

Finally, some good news. Oliva fouled one off before he struck out.

Brubaker is pitching BP to the Brewers. This is the tale of two small market teams. One with a real GM and the other with a pretender.

Polanco would have stopped that triple somehow.

Maybe they didn’t want to scare off the 20-25 GMs who are inquiring about his availability.
