And of course it would have been nice for them to come here.
The MLB does us no favors by having our "Natural Rivals" be the Detroit Tigers (???) who nobody actually cares about one way or the other. I wish they'd just stop the charade and admit that they didn't really give a damn about the rest of the teams, they really just wanted the Mets and Yankees to play all the time.

Even this year and last year they don't/didn't play the Orioles on the weekend.
Unless, they think attendance will boost on the week nights? I disagree with that. I asked my Baltimore friends if they are coming in for the game this year and of course, they have to work. I doubt I will make the trip to Cleveland next year. If I do go, it will be a drive up, drive back type of day.

The probably with loading the summer schedule for northern teams is that it makes it a lot of games for season ticket holders. I have a friend that has season tickets. He lives over an hour away. It would be tough to do home games for 2-3 weeks straight.

Was just looking over the schedule again and noticed the Pirates play 13 of their last 19 games on the road. Yuck!!
