Everyone was done with him as a Pirate and it's best for everyone that this happened (should have been a year or two ago IMO), but he seems like a decent dude. Like Charlie Morton, one of my favorite players as a guy but least favorite as a player.
This also draws a close to the McClouth for Locke/Morton/Gorkys trade. No matter what you think of the returning guys, any trade that nets you 40% of your rotation for several (winning) years is a successful trade considering Nate wasn't even in the Braves organization for too long at all.

Yes, it was time to move on. I am sure Locke will get picked up somewhere (he is left-handed).
I agree it was a good trade for the Pirates. I was shocked when McLouth was traded since he was just signed long term, but it was a quality trade in the long run.
