I think they said this was his first game without issuing a walk. It ties his season high of 7 innings. Happy to see he is doing well. Gives us some good depth.

Send down Kuhl, bring up Brault.

Like I pointed out, Kuhl had a good start last time out and probably saved him a few more starts (see: Jeff Locke).

Lefties have a 1.080 OPS against Chad Kuhl this year. It's no mystery what the problem is. So he needs to either work on that (preferrably in AAA) or get on with his future in middle relief.

I wouldn't be giving up on Chad Kuhl as a starter. He has made 25 starts. There has been more good than bad in there. There is no shame in sending him down. He is 24 years old.
