Giles was a very under rated star while in Pittsburgh

I'm very convinced he was a huge juice though

Bucs were lambasted by media for dumping Giles

Timing ended up being near perfect and trade as amazing

Totally agree. Giles was both awesome and a total product of steroids. He was the last Pirate to fully exploit the short porch in right field consistently IMO. I often felt like he was the last Pirate to care enough about winning to juice

. In all seriousness though, he was the rare trade that happened at exactly the right time.
