Reading over at P2 and the announced that Jordan Luplow is done for the season. He had an appendectomy this morning in Chicago. Should not mess up is off season work.
And Archer will miss his last start on Sunday with a left groin strain. Not bad they report. If Sunday was an important game he could go.
Finally, Jung Ho Kang will report to the Bucs and be available for the last 3 games of the season. He will wear #16.

Okay I like this decision on Archer because I was just thinking the following:
I would have been TOTALLY fine if the Pirates had skipped the final starts of Williams, Taillon and Archer.
* Williams and Taillon have finished on MAJOR rolls
* All 3 finished on very high notes
* All 3 finished healthy
Glad that Archer is finished with a 6 IP, 0 Runs, 9K performance in Wrigley.
I hope Williams and Taillon both finish strong ... and healthy.

I agree, the Archer performance was a big one for him. Going against Cubs in a meaningful game and shutting them down has to be a big confidence boost.

Thanks for that update Sammy. That is a good hospital from what my daughter, a former Chicagoland resident (but still a loyal and dedicated and crazy Bucco fan now living in Seattle) has told me.
