At the beginning of the season, who would have guessed that the Pirates would be trying to play spoiler in this series.

:) We could probably get an answer to that question by looking at the season predictions. There were some pretty pessimistic (then, realistic now) predictions in the bunch.

Where in the heck did our hitting go? This latest slump is pitiful. You cannot blame it all on the hitting coach,but maybe we need a change .

at least they are getting some hits tonight. I don't know if I would go to a game in the remainder of this season if I was offered free tickets, parking and food.

PNC may be a good place to take a nap.
They have 7 hits ,but Cutch has 3 of them. Also Taillon had one of them. The rest of the lineup is asleep. Where in heavens name is Frazier? He knows how to hit.
