John Dreker at P2 is passing along news from Adam Berry, MLB.com beat writer for the Pirates:
"Jason Martin is done for the year due to a dislocated left shoulder, Todd Tomczyk said. Doctors did not recommend surgery and told the Pirates staff that Martin would have only missed a month if this happened earlier in the season, so he should be good to go next spring."
