I just tuned in and watched Glasnow go 1-2-3 and then the Pirates score three runs to take the lead. That's pretty exciting for me.
Haha, I reverse-cursed them.

Just scored two more. 9-5 Pirates.
I'm disappointed I didn't see Giolito. He and Glasnow were ranked one and two top pitching prospects at one point.

OT, but I'm trying out the audio overlay feature tonight. I haven't been able to watch much this year, so it's nice to be able to take in a game. Anyway, I much prefer listening to Brown than Block. I don't think Block is a bad announcer, but I just prefer Brown. Anyway, the audio overlay works pretty well on MLB.tv. I don't use it much, but it syncs well. The only time it's weird is when the TV broadcast has some graphic that they're talking about, or Robbie is talking. Kind of a cool feature.

Rob Manfred isn't going to be pleased. Three hours in, and we're only just now finishing the 6th inning. This game is taking FOREVER.
As an aside, it is straight pouring here in central Iowa. Usually, Chicago weather is about a day behind us. Just thinking ahead...no idea what the forecast is for tomorrow. But, should tomorrow's game get rained out, the Bucs do have two more trips to Chicago to play the Cubs. Might have to squeeze a game on the southside in on one of those trips.

They could do a freaky doubleheader where they play the Cubs in the morning and the Sox at night.

Great win!
Came back from big deficit.
Bullpen shut Sox down, mostly.

I can't believe there were no errors in the game. Dickerson loses one in the lights and also had a hit off of a guys glove on a line drive. The Sox spiked a ball into the grass on a relay. No errors.
It seems like Nova would have been out of that first inning. Dickerson' play, then had a 3-2 count called a ball. Seems unlucky, but stuff happens. Not an excuse, just pointing it out. Nova was happy in his interview that the team won.
It's hard to count this offense out. Everyone except Frazier got a hit. Everyone either scored a run or knocked in a run. It would be great to get these two wins. Got to beat up on the bad teams.

I didn't know about that. I'll have to use it. I absolutely cannot stand listening to block ramble on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

There were also two really egregious non strike calls for Nova in the first inning. Both were on full counts. Both resulted in walks that scored (I think) rather than strikeouts like they should have been. They were not borderline calls. It was a tough inning all around. Kudos to the Buccos for coming back in that game.

Excellent win.
I still have tremendous concerns about our starting pitching, but this offense could really be something special if Bell and Polanco could get hot and stay hot at the same time (and I realize that's a HUGE if).
Dickerson is ON FIRE.
And nice to see the Cards lose twice at home to the Twinkies.
