Nice. While I wonder how much of his second half with us was the "real thing" you can't argue with the deal.
It does make me a tad anxious wondering what the other teams were seeing/weren't seeing to make this a bigger signing, but even at his Yankee levels nothing wrong with this. That's basically Charlie Morton money, isn't it?

I think they got him less for his last half of a year, but for his lifetime 4.30 ERA and similar 4.26 FIP. Those are really solid numbers for the back of a rotation with the upside that he doesn't walk guys and like the end of last year.
