Jordan Luplow wins the #35 spot. Adding a pair of Altoona batters and a Bradenton pitcher to get the poll to 15 for the first time. These may actually be the last players I add unless someone has another suggestion. Or if I change my mind.

Pat Light has already made the majors. It seems to me that that means to some degree that he's already "succeeded" as a prospect and whoever originally scouted him for the draft was right.

When did Gift learn how to hit? He'w been tearing it up this ST. Hope it continues in AAA.

Game winner today. Bottom ninth, Frazier walks, steals second and Gift drives him in.

Pat Light has indeed made the bigs but still qualifies as a rookie. That's the only qualifier. By my count, 7 players on the poll have made at least one appearance with the Bucs but are still technically rookies, although a casual fan may not think Brault or Bell would be.

I agree. Just saying that that means he is already at least somewhat successful as a prospect. Surely not all "36th best prospects" will be able to say the same thing.

Ngoepe stood out at first, especially with the hot ST, but I would really like Webb to make the roster and if he does, I think he'll be successful.
