$5 Tickets Tonight

The Pirates are selling $5 tickets tonight with the password CINCO.

Sounds like the fans are reacting to this slow start. I don't recall too many $5 ticket offers since PNC Park opened.

I remember the days of $5 tix to Pirate games. Could sit down by the Pirates dugout for that much. And popcorn in a megaphone container so you could cheer after eating it was two-bits. A Coke was the same price. Ah, those were the days. Games with dad at the "House of Thrills".

At Three Rivers Stadium we used to get $5 tickets and the $1 tickets (age 14 and under). The ticket takers never realized they were dollar tickets. If they did, we said we bought them off a scalper. A group of five would be $9 total.

Looks like they need some fans tonight or this weekend. $5 is pretty cheap to see a Pirates game at PNC Park. Might be worth to see Thames hit a bomb.
