The trade is behind us, the Cole era over. Regardless of how you assess the return, we have four new players in the organization. Short of a jackazz like Derek Bell, I will root for about anyone the team runs out on the field. So like every other player in the system, I am now a fan of theirs and cheering for their success.
I have watched minor league baseball for years. Most of the players would be better defined as boys rather than men. Boys chasing their dreams and learning their way. Some you think are no-brainers for stardom fizzle out. Some that first appear unremarkable become solid major leaguers.
None of the new guys look like all-stars on paper, but neither did guys like Harrison, Grilli, Melancon, Hanrahan or others when they came to town.
Did NH get all he could? Probably not. But over time, our four new Bucs will have the ultimate say in how this trade is evaluated. I will be cheering they do something Bob Nutting has made difficult ---- Making Neal look good.

New Bucs
Good post. I'm not pleased with team's direction and doubt they are going to be a contender in next few years but sure hope these guys and others turn into great players.5354786F791A0 wrote: The trade is behind us, the Cole era over.
