Brutal to say the least, but they're both more than likely making the playoffs.
The Dodgers down 9-5 to the Padres last night, hit 4 HR's in the bottom of the 8th to win 11-9.
Rangers become the third team to lose 100 with a 6-5 loss to the Angels today. Wonder who will be next?

Saw it this morning on ESPN-Just thinking-at old Forbes Field that would have been over the trees at the 457 mark

Atlanta wins NL East. Forget about Harper for MVP. Phils went to Atlanta and got swept. Harper was lousy when they needed him the most

IT's not off season yet so I will mention it here. Adam Wainwright
signed a one year contract for 2022

Mariner's down by a run, first and third, no outs in the 7th. The next three strike out, and in the 8th, 3 up and 3 down, all by the strikeout.
Went from tie for second WC to outside looking in. I hope they make it, I watched that game after coming home from the Bucs game, and seeing a sold out stadium just rocking for a team that few if any predicted would be in this spot was inspiring

15 million. Morton got 20 million. These are the types of pitchers the Pirates need to sign, and it saddens me to look at those figures, because we are not going to get anyone like a Waino or Morton if it takes that kind of money.

Watching Rays-Yankees. Shane Baz starting. They have the Yankees broadcast team on MLB network. Some hilights from comments in the bottom of the first:
"All teams make bad trades, but I don't think this is hyperbole. This might be the worst trade (Baz/Meadows/Glasnow for Archer) in the history of baseball, at least certainly from the Pirates perspective. And then, the Rays get Archer back."
"For a team that counts pennies, it looked pretty good getting Archer back, and they have all of them, but they wasted 6 million dollars on a guy who gave them nothing because he was injured all season."
No matter where we go, we just can't get that trade in the rear view mirror, even when the Pirates aren't one of the teams in the game.

Baz's start against Toronto, he gave up 2 HR's.
Just gave up another in the bottom of the first.

Careful. Walking close to the edge.
