Interesting all the attention going Cole's way with regard to sticky substances. Ton of pressure for his next start.

Good stuff about the substances, but also about the troubles the Yankees are having. While the Pirates might at least get some pity, no one will ever feel sorry for the Yankees. I found the little nugget about LeMahieu's aging, and the need for left handed hitting to be interesting. I wonder if Cashman has approached Cherington about Frazier?

I listen to New York's WFAN and the callers this morning sounded like ones to Pittsburgh's the FAN. People demanding the firing of the manager. Fans saying the team was unwatchable, questioning if they were going to renew season tickets etc.
Made me laugh.

I wonder if Crick is using it for the frisbee ball he throws. Might actually help him to take some off....walk fewer batters.

I wonder whether Yankee fans can hear their calliopes all the way up to West Point?

I love the pitch just wish he could control it better. Personally I would put him in a few non game situations and let him pitch just to get him work on the thing in live situations. Heaven knows we'll have lots of those.
