Talk is the Brewers are going to nontender him. If the Pirates trade Harrison what would you thing of Gennett as a second baseman. Always liked the hustle of this kid!

I don't know. There's something wrong with a grown man that calls himself "Scooter" if you ask me.

Gennett wasn't much better than Harrison last year on offense. I would probably think Harrison is better on defense. Gennett did hit more HRs (might need some power)
Gennett is young and is left handed. I would consider it, but need to move Harrison first. But I don't think it is much of an upgrade.

Remember Phil "Scooter" Rizzuto -- upon further thought he might prove your point.

Hey now.
One of the best names in our system is "Scooter" Hightower -- especially because he is 6'6" (guess the Hightower fits better than the Scooter).

People knew Phil by his first name. Scooter Gennet, not so much. I think this is closer to Larry (only Mets fans call him that) "Chipper" Jones.
And he turned out OK.

I met Scooter Hightower at Pirate City in June. Seemed like a nice kid.
