It would be great to find a shutdown reliever. Maybe Cederlind can be that guy. OTOH, Arquimedes Caminero threw 98-100 and couldn't get anyone out.

Totally mismanaged by old Ray, the guy never threw the ball up in the zone always down, down, down. I wrote about it when he was with Pirates. 98 up is a lot different than down. Seems the high fastball is now in vogue. A high hard fastball has always been known to be almost impossible to hit to us old timers.

yeah, pitchers go up the ladder with the fastball for a reason.
