What is up with Jose Osuna and his playing time? While others are getting well deserved opportunities, he has become a statue in the dugout. 5 DNP's in the last 6 Pirates games played, and the 1 game he did play, he got a PH single.
1 start in the last 14 Pirates games, and only 12 AB's total in that same time frame. Even in the 17-3 loss at Chicago last week he didn't get off the bench.
I understand he doesn't have a true position (beside 1B), and he may be limited to platoon player against lefties, but man he is being wasted sitting there.
I wish they had Sent him to Indy for the playoffs to get him so AB's and feel like he's part of something.

Maybe he is hurt? It isn't like they put players on the DL this time of the year.
I agree with you about third base. I've been saying that since Freese came out and said he was tired.

Just guessing here, but it could be that they see Osuna as more of a known at this point than an unknown so they are putting Luplow out in RF to see what we have. Bell is not getting many days off with his piling up stats that are setting new rookie records. Maybe we will see him in LF on the road when Cutch or Marte get a rest day.
