Brault was perfect through seven innings too.

Kuhl is up again to save his job. He's been improving and having decent starts since Brault has been being mentioned. Can Kuhl do it again against the Giants?

Yes it is possible. .278/.361/.491. .OPS at .852. I also read that since May 15th his .ISO and contact rate are at the highest levels of his career.

McCutchen leads the team in Runs, OPS, SLG, BB, and Total Bases. Second on the team in Hits, Doubles, HRs, OBP, and AVE (and not by much in these categories, can easily pass the others).

It is looking like McCutchen didn't drop off, he just had a bad season in 2016. He is at least on pace for his career norms.

What does perfect through 7 innings mean ?

It means 21 outs with no hits, walks, or HBP.

He gave up 4 hits , so pretty sure that didn't happen . But no big deal , you just read the game log wrong.

He was perfect through 4 innings. The first hit against him was a double in the 5th.
