When should we start the prospect poll?

I know right now we are in the throes of Cutch mania and may be getting one or more very good prospects, but when should I start the Top 30/40? Last year started on January 1st. Unless someone thinks that's too late, that's what I am planning on this year. I'm planning on having at least 10 players available on every poll, who do you think we should have on the first poll. Josh Bell, Tyler Glasnow, Austin Meadows are givens at this point. Lots of last year's top 10 are either gone (Ramirez, McGuire) or not eligible (Taillon). The other carry-overs from last year are Hanson, Hayes, Diaz and Kingham. Potential new additions include Newman, Tucker, Keller, Holmes. Who else should be there from the start?

I hope Barrett Barnes is still considered a prospect .

I really think he takes a big step forward next season a AAA

Solid AA numbers over 2 seasons (full and partial), yes..But its a 160 game sample.

If he was 23 people would be hollering.Well they still should, its not like he has spent years at levels .He has not done that !

He is my pick to click this year for the Bucs prospects. He will be a fine trade chip or a player for us .

January first sounds like a good starting point. Whatever significant is going to happen will have happened by then.

Agreed. I enjoyed following his torrid post all star performance this year. ( check his splits!!!)

Hope we don't lose him in rule 5 draft

Maybe we should wait until the 50 new prospects we are getting from off season deals?
