Nice to see that Brubaker and Martin made the 30 man roster

The Lithuanian has picts of Shelton and Cherrington. Must have because he isn't an MLB pitcher you want on a roster.

Who is our emergency catcher?

This is sad...with eight available NL playoff spots, the Pirates SHOULD be relevant until the end of the season. But this roster is so pathetic, I doubt their relevant by August. I’m totally serious...I’ll be surprised if they win more than 15 games.

If the season turns out as you suggest, and it very well could, it's going to be interesting to see who Cherington deals away at the Deadline or in the offseason. He has few trade pieces and, if he trades guys like Bell, Reynolds, and/or Newman, he has nothing at all going into next year. Then, over 162 games, they might be on track to win only 15 games again.

Don't get your hopes up.

Not under any circumstances can I envision this being a .500 team in 2020. So I looked at the 30-man roster and tried to predict who might emerge as improvements and serious contributors for 2021. I selected three pitchers:
Keller, Holmes, and Burdi. Some may be longshots, but those are my breakout prospects for this weird season.

Lame doesn't begin to describe that collection of misfits.
I predicted 19 wins..should have gone less than 15...
