Even after hearing the nominees, I just assumed it would be Yelich because that's typically how GGs are handed out.

It’s nice to see the writers paying attention.

I feel like back in the day somebody like Ozzie Smith would get it and writers would just keep voting him in year after year

Dickerson really earned it this season and it’s great to see him rewarded.

I agree. I think the system of having 3 finalists helps. Voters might even do a little research.
